Goal and Purpose

Atwood Baptist Church strives to be a praying Church that extends the love of
Christ to any and everyone who walks through our doors. Our goal as believers is to reach people around the corner and around the world with the love of Christ and the eternal life He offers as a free gift. This is a church bathed in prayer, with bold believers and a bottomless amount of love to share with everyone.
"We love, because He first loved us." - 1 John 4:19

Prayer for Sickness or Ailments?

Our God can Heal

"Is anyone among you sick? Let them call the elders of the church to pray over them and anoint them with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise them up. If they have sinned, they will be forgiven." James 5:14-15

Prayer for The Lost Family of Friends?

Our God SAVES!

“And I will give them one heart, and put a new spirit within them. And I will take the heart of stone out of their flesh and give them a heart of flesh, that they may walk in My statutes and keep My ordinances and do them. Then they will be My people, and I shall be their God." Ezekiel 11:19-20

Prayer for Guidance and Wisdom?

Our God gives when asked in His Will

"Give instruction to a wise man and he will be still wiser, teach a righteous man and he will increase his learning. The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom, and the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding." Proverbs 9:9-10
